Blind Attraction (Reckless Beats #1) by Eden Summers
I love musicians in my books and in real life, and Mitchell Davies delivers everything I love in a musician: talent, heat, and sweetness.
I related to Alana on so many levels, the need to explore, the unconventional upbringing, and litany of emotional issues. She is a fabulous character.
Now, sadly for me the actual injury was a bit unbelievable, but I am unlike most readers, I actually work in ophthalmology. I know more than the average reader would about this and therefore I don’t foresee this being an issue for very many fans.
The Blake/Alana/Mitchell moment near the end was a delightful surprise. Certainly unconventional but oddly satisfying.
Technically, the writing was well done, tight, grammatically correct, zero plot holes, or word echoes. The pacing was very good, no room for boredom.
